It was hard to get any relics of Joseph Cretin, Bishop of St. Paul, Minnesota but he sends a lock of his hair and the quill through which the Bishop inhaled camphor. He also sends the letter of the aged priest companion of the Bishop from whom he received these mementoes.

In looking over some old papers he found the enclosed photo of Archbishop John Ireland of St. Paul taken after his ordination. There is not another one of them in existence.
