Her son was invited by an uncle, a druggist in Charleston and another uncle, City Civil Engineer, has taken him into his office. Mr. Barbot requests Hudson ask Father Edward Sorin, C.S.C. if he remembers Carlos Vincente Esnard, one of the first settlers of Notre Dame.
