Dorsey's daughter, Nellie Ella Lorraine Dorsey is disappointed because she had to postpone her trip to Notre Dame because of her lame foot. Nellie was anxious to write an article on the lace industry introduced by Mother Angela at St. Mary's. Dorsey thanks Professor Joseph Lyons for the Scholastic Annual. Dorsey received Hudson's letter with notes about the lace making. She understood from Miss Febiger that making lace was a conspicuous industry at St. Mary's. Nellie's Ella Loraine Dorsey foot is much better. Dr. Pratt of Chicago must be a first class surgeon. Dorsey sends Part III of "The Story of a Child". Dorsey's heart is giving her discomfort. She had an eminent physican, Dr. Lincoln, make an examination of it and he concluded that her trouble was functional. Angie Dorsey has been in bed five weeks. Yesterday Dorsey was thinking of Louise Lateau, wondering if she were living or dead. The Ave Maria answers her. In a letter she wrote this morning Dorsey told Hudson about the facsimile of the Virgin's wedding ring. By coincidence there is an article on this in the Ave Maria. :: X-2-l A. L. Dorsey is greatly distressed and tells Hudson of her troubles. Her daughter Angela is ill again. Anna Smith has given her large home to the Order of Good Shepard. Dorsey forwarded a manuscript last week. She asks Hudson to forward her some money on her articles that have been published, a check for $100 would square accounts. Her daughter Clare Mohun is still confined to bed. Miss Febiger leaves tomorrow for Circleville Ohio to visit her aunt Mrs. William Anderson and Mrs. Ketchum, who plan to visit Mother Angela Gillespie .
