Abstract

A substantial collection of manuscript material, photographs, and printed matter relating to the All-American Girls Baseball League, a women's professional league active in the American Midwest from 1943 to 1954. Included is a set of nine loose-leaf notebooks compiled by South Bend Blue Sox executive Harold T. Dailey, comprising a kind of documentary history of the league.

Collection of various items by and about the early twentieth century French poet Anna de Noailles, consisting largely of autograph letters from Noailles to various correspondents, and reviews and criticism of Noailles' work in various early twentieth century publications. Personal, professional, and political correspondence and other papers of the Mississippi lawyer, planter, and politician George Colin McKee (1837-1890). McKee was a "carpetbagger" and moderate Republican who represented the Vicksburg district in Congress during Reconstruction. Most of the material dates from the 20 years following the Civil War, though there are McKee family papers extending into the 20th century.

The correspondence and other papers of the American Lenore Mooney (1859-1941), dating especially from her time as a relief worker in Paris during World War I. There are many letters to Mooney from French soldiers and others victimized by the war, as well as a substantial correspondence with nephew Charles E.
