Mrs. Anna Hanson Dorsey portrays Howe's idea of a mixed marriage as a Via Crucis in spite of a lawful mixed marriage and external happiness. The card and pictures that Hudson sent by Professor Joseph Lyons have been received. Toomey was ordained May 1st. He said his first Mass in Pullman. Archbishop Patrick A. Feehan of Chicago assigned Toomey to the College of St. Viateur as Director of Studies. After school closes Toomey intends to go to Boston and he will be pleased to do favors for Hudson while there. Archbishop James Gibbons likes the idea. Neale feels he is not the man to carry out the job.
