Starr, Eliza Allen, Chicago, Illinois, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1884 May 2
Scope and Contents
Starr sends Julia Smalley's manuscripts. Starr will look over the proofs if Hudson thinks it necessary. She laughed when she read the note on S. Odelia and the Albany Telegraph. The New York Freeman's Journal gave full credit to the Ave Maria and to Starr for her art notes. Starr hopes that Hudson received his share of the copies of "Pilgrims and Shrines". She has sent one to Father-General Edward Sorin but has not heard from him. Starr thought Sorin would be delighted with the pictures of Santa Brigida. Father John Zahm wrote Starr that there was no longer any conveniences for photographing at the college. She has heard nothing from St. Mary's or Sisters Angelia or Lucretia. :: X-2-m A.L.S. 6pp. 12mo.
