The Spanish newspaper that Hudson sent to Van Ness was a pleasant surprise. It was three years ago that Mother of the Sacred Heart received an invitation from the Archbishop of Mexico City, Antoni Lavastida , to open an Academy. Now they are founding schools also at Chihuahua and Monterrey.
