Scope and Contents
Smalley is thankful to be a subscriber to the Ave Maria due to Hudson's generosity. She will ask her Aunt Julia Smalley to write up the "Records" for Hudson. Smalley inquires if Hudson has read, "The Young Converts" which was written at the request of the Bishop of Burlington, Vermont. The proceeds from the five editions were used to complete the building of the Immaculate Conception Church in St. Albans, Vermont. The pastor of Smalley's parish wants to get an Ostensorium, but the expense is to great and so Smalley asks Hudson to make an appeal for one in the Ave Maria. However, Father William Finucan of Creatling, Ohio presented the parish with a ciborium. :: X-2-o A.L.S. 3pp. 12mo.
