Having always understood that the Catholic Church forbids marriage of first cousins he was surprised to read in Lady Georgiana Fullerton's "Eliane" that Catholic cousins were married. Previously a "Tale" appeared in the Ave Maria in which three godparents married their godchildren. No explanation of either of these articles was published.
