It seems that Edwards has forgotten to write. They have interested Mother Gertrude, Eureka, California, in the Memorial Hall. They will try at the Carmelite Convent in Baltimore for letters of Archbishop Neale. Their pastor Father Devine has a photograph of Bishop O'Sullivan which they will try to have him lend to Edwards. In a short time Edwards will have a grand time at the University. The visitors will take great delight in seeing Bishops' Memorial Hall. Father Curley of Georgetown suggests that Visitation Convent, Georgetown, may have some of Archbishop Leonard Neale's letters. They are keeping house now.

They may yet succeed in getting letters of Archbishop Neale. They were distressed to hear of the death of Mother Angela, C.S.C. Another saint in Heaven! Bishop Jeremiah O'Sullivan of Mobile, Alabama said he had not yet collected what Edwards desired. They saw the notice of Mother Angela's death in the Scholastic and supposed it was sudden.

Her pastor, Father George W. Devine, said that Edwards could secure access to letters of Archbishop John Carroll in the Archives of the Cathedral. Lewis, the family servant, described the Archbishop as of medium size, thick set, fat stomach, light brown hair, blue eyes. Her half-sister, Mrs. Digges, said the Archbishop was perfectly delightful with young people. Edwards' telegram bringing the sad tidings of Father Richard Shortis' C.S.C. death arrived. She notified the Sisters on 6th Street. She sent a box with some souvenirs of St. Patrick to Shortis enclosing one for Sister Ildefonsis, C.S.C. and asks Edwards to look it up. They expected Hennaert on the 20th for the blessing of the new church at Wright Settlement. At the time of the death of Bishop Peter Paul Lefevere they were promised a priest as soon as a house was purchased for him. They have already paid $1000.
