All-American Girls Baseball League Collection
A substantial collection of manuscript material, photographs, and printed matter relating to the All-American Girls Baseball League, a women's professional league active in the American Midwest from 1943 to 1954. Included is a set of nine loose-leaf notebooks compiled by South Bend Blue Sox executive Harold T. Dailey, comprising a kind of documentary history of the league.
Baseball Sheet Music Collection
An accumulation of around 400 different pieces of published sheet music relating to baseball. The relationship may reside in the music's title or lyrics, in the sheet's cover graphics, or in some other identification with the game. Examples bear copyright dates ranging from 1860 to 1992. Baseball themed sheet music was especially common in the half-decade before World War I.
Birmingham Black Barons records
A collection of records, mostly financial, of the Birmingham (Alabama) Black Barons Negro Leagues professional baseball club. The most significant item in the collection is a manuscript cash book, showing the club's financial accounts with each of its players for the seasons 1926 through 1930.

A collection of materials on the Pete Rose gambling investigation of 1989, assembled by journalist Jim Newton of the Fort Hamilton (OH) Press. The collection consists primarily of photocopied documents and news clips. Included is a copy of the Dowd Report (Major League Baseball's investigation into Rose's activities) with its many attendant volumes of exhibits.
Johnny Evers Collection
A small collection of manuscripts, photographs, printed matter, and realia belonging to Hall of Fame second baseman Johnny Evers (1881-1947). Much of the material relates to the exhibition games played in Europe in 1924 by the New York Giants and Chicago White Sox, a series in which Evers participated as White Sox manager.
