They proceeded to New York where John Cardinal McCloskey, who was advised by Rome of Osouf's permission, gave him a letter of recommendation for the diocese of New York. Archbishop Michael Corrigan recognized Osouf, whom he met seven years ago at St. Sulpice in Paris. Their identity can't be questioned in New York. Dorsey is pleased with the proposed edition of her book, Patrick O'Shea said Sorin gave him permission to publish Coaena, the Flemmings and the Old Gray Rosary.
