Bishop Pierre Osouf and Pettier are pleased with Hudson's article appealing for funds for their missionary work. Pettier wishes to correct an error which also appeared in the New York Freeman's Journal . Contributions from the Church in France through the Propagation of the Faith are now insufficient.
