To insure Hudson that she is not an "Indian Giver" she will give some lines to take their place. Hudson's last letter to Muir had a humorous touch to it even if it was at her expense. She understands why Professor Arthur Stace slighted her and thought she was pursuing him with the desperation of declining years. The article "Colorado" has been reprinted in Idaho Territory. This disturbs the children. She hesitates to accept such liberality as making her own terms. All she could pay for Joseph is $10 a month.
