Scope and Contents
She felt absence must be the cause of no earlier response. Since she wrote about her grandson, his father in Paris has been growing worse. He is active but not himself mentally. This disturbs the children. She hesitates to accept such liberality as making her own terms. All she could pay for Joseph is $10 a month. She impresses on Joseph that he must some day make up the deficit. :: XI-1-m A.L.S. 6pp.
