At the close of a dinner which Cardinal Satolli gave, the tenth anniversary of his election to the Cardinalate, the Cardinal spoke to him about the work Edwards ordered from Frengueli. They had discontinued the pictures until word from Edwards. If Edwards would speak to Father John W. Cavanaugh, the matter would be considered favorably. He prepared a paper entitled "Father Damien and the Lepers of Molokai", which he hopes to publish, illustrated with the picture in question.
