Morrissey, C.S.C., Father Andrew, New York, New York to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1905 September 11
Scope and Contents
He has decided to go to Paris direct. He has three points to discuss with the General: financial, the Brother, an undue development of one wing of the Community contrary to rule and the last General Chapter; and authority. Edwards should give him all the points he can about Rome. The plan of receiving as many letters as possible at Angers opens the eyes of the French as to the friends one has. The latest he got from his friend in the Minims is that the Provincial Father John A. Zahm, C.S.C. is very anxious about his going with Archbishop Alexander Christie. He could say plenty. :: XI-2-h A.L.S. 2pp.
