It is a long time since they heard from Edwards. They hope he is not suffering with the influenza. For two months the influenza in Paris was positively alarming. They are sorry that Father S. P. If she could care for the grave herself she would not fell the void so much. Yesterday the Seine was frozen over which created great astonishment. She has been confined to the house with a cold.

Barnum and Baileys' American Circus gave their first representation on Saturday and over 12,000 people were there.
