Quigley sends $3. as subscription fee for the Freeman's Journal asks for a receipt. As old as its editor is, the Freeman's Journal has always been regarded by Quigley as being the best Catholic newspaper in the country. It is not written for the vulgar people either Catholic or Protestants, nor for the despotism of Bishops, nor the servility of priests, but for the due responsibility and just rights of all. :: I-2-d A.L.S. 1p. 12mo.
