Quigley, Father P. F., Cleveland, Ohio, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1880 September 27
Scope and Contents
Quigley thanks Hudson for the copies of the Ave Maria containing Judge Dunne's Oration. Quigley has just returned and found the pamphlets with the Ave Maria containing the history of possession. Quigley was working in New York attempting to raise funds for Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, Brighton, Ohio . He asks Hudson to have the entire community make a novena for the welfare of his church. The church is $5,000 in debt and without a great blessing Quigley cannot save the church from being sold. He has some projects to aid; if they will only succeed. Regards to Father General Edward Sorin and Father Corby. :: X-2-g A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo
