Dunlop, Hamilton B., Edinburgh, Scotland, to Monsignor Robert Seton, Jersey City Heights, New Jersey, 1891 April 9
He thanks Seton for his kind letter of last autumn. His mother, Mrs. William Dunlop, passed away on Easter evening. He is glad Seton saw his mother as he appreciated her brave heart. Dunlop's mother used to say that she thought they as Protestants lost a great deal for lack of a due appreciation of the character of the Virgin Mary. They will be at Seton Castle as usual this summer and it would be a pleasure to welcome Seton again. :: II-1-c A.L.S. 4pp. 16 mo.

There was a Catholic mission to the Potawatomi in Indiana which was served by Fathers Petit and Badin, located on Twin Lakes. Dunne Co., J. P., New York, New York, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1882 November 14
He is grateful for Hudson's kind letter and enclosure. They plead guilty in relation to "The Little Musician." No author's name was given, so they thought it was an original. The "Visit" was copied from some exchange which gave credit to the "Paterson Weekly Times." If they have done the Ave Maria an injustice it was unintentional. P.S. They have read the Ave Maria since its first issue and say "God Bless it." :: X-2-j A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.

Brawley who has practiced in Illinois for thirty years. His address for the Ave Maria has not changed.
