Muir speaks of coming east to visit some relatives and while visiting them she would visit Hudson, that she might discuss her spiritual problems. Muir thinks she will never write a Catholic story because it would not pay. With the exception of a few religious whose lives are unavailable, Muir sees nothing admirable in individual Catholics. Muir agrees with Hudson, Eleanor Donnelly is very feminine. Mrs. Burnett 's story has a good conclusion. Muir gives her letter to her friend, Julia Clifford who is traveling past Notre Dame. If Hudson has not printed the lines on "Death," he should throw it away. To insure Hudson that she is not an "Indian Giver" she will give some lines to take their place. Hudson's last letter to Muir had a humorous touch to it even if it was at her expense. She understands why Professor Arthur Stace slighted her and thought she was pursuing him with the desperation of declining years. The article "Colorado" has been reprinted in Idaho Territory.
