Bishop Louis Joseph De Goesbriand, a life-long friend of Rappe, could give valuable information on him. Also Bishop Joseph P. Macheboeuf would assist Clarke. P.S. The writer need not see favorable criticism but reasonable criticism is useful and even unreasonable unjust criticism may serve some purpose but its abuse has an unhelpful effect.
