Charbonnel would no longer be Bissey's friend if he did not tell him that it is impossible to approve of Bissey's plan. He does not say that all his complaints are without basis; he promises inviolable secrecy. Bissey had troubles elsewhere; he found others in Canada; Charbonnel promises a third kind in Bissey's new place. He will never find as many as among the Irish.
