Chase, W T., New York, New York, to James Alphonsus McMaster, New York, New York, 1874 September 19

 Item
Identifier: CMMA I-2-a

Scope and Contents

Although he has not met McMaster for a long time, he used to meet him with Mr. John L. Wilsen of the Herald. He takes the liberty to introduce his friend General Vicomte d'Abain, formerly with the Pontifical Zouaves. D'Abain has resided in New York for the past two years, writing many articles for Harper, Scribner, Appleton and Frank Leslie. Chase attests to prodigious industry. D'Abain would like to discuss the situation in Spain with McMaster, since McMaster's aricles on Spain have so astonished the Secretary of State Hamilton Fish. :: I-2-a A.L.S. 4pp. 16to.
