Fulton had arranged to be with Clarke, but discovered he was a day too late. He meant to be present. At the Catholic Protectory High Mass was celebrated and 180 boys and 60 girls participated in the communion for the first time with certain clergy present. :: I-2-n A.L.S. 1p. 12mo.

He is endeavoring to raise money for an organ for his Sunday school and prefers speaking for the money to begging. He encloses a letter of his Father Superior; the extension of their Canadian Mission and their lately erected college will not allow them to visit oftener the Polish missions in Michigan. He intends to send Father Francis Breitkopf there once more this winter and hopes Lefevere will send them a resident priest. For the expense of the voyage, he suggests a donation from the Society of the Propagation of the Faith. Enclosure:
