Scope and Contents
She is now living in New Jersey with her sister Mrs. Richard H. Clarke . The house that General Washington occupied during the Revolution is only a short distance away. The church is of Gothic structure and the pastor has taken the church out of debt and has erected a flourishing school. There are only two Catholic families in the greater society, the Clarks, and Mr. Paul Revere who is a grandson of the famous Paul Revere. Mrs. Ives son, Eugene, has finished his law course and is employed in New York. She heard that Hudson now has a telephone between the college and the convent. Her niece, Ada Clark, has not been able to return to the convent because an escort could not be secured for her. Mrs. Ives son Frank is a Surgeon in the Army and is at Fort Creigh, New Mexico. She hopes Hudson's health has improved. She enjoys the Ave Maria immensely. Regards to Fathers Corby, Granger and Walsh. Hudson should write in care of Mr. Richard H.
