If the project of building a church is given up, Ferry requests that the lots revert to him, as he gave them solely for church purposes. Since Father Hudson has published some of her verses she takes the liberty of addressing him, and sending him "The Mixed Marriage or the Free of Duty". She asks for remuneration since they have to depend upon ungrateful tenants in their poor country of Ireland.
