She also heard that John G Ewing is not coming back. Father John A. Zahm C.S.C. is gone to Denver. Twelve Sisters will go to Bengal India. The discussion revolves about the practice and obligations of poverty by religious orders and the degree of sin against poverty. The Illinois State Historical Library is printing a Collection of documents from 1778 to 1790 and he hopes Edwards' collection may have some material on the ecclesiastic situation. At the request of Father Joseph Damiani, S.J., superior of the Mission, she writes to inquire if Edwards knows of a suitable person who would be willing to serve as College Prefect gratis. The Fathers would provide board and clothing and ample time for prayer and study. They are progressing slowly but surely. They have 70 Blackfoot Indian childrena and 50 cheyenne at St. Labre's. There is a large field for helpers among the Indians in Montana.
