Baker, Sadie L., Oswego, Illinois, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1880 September 28
Item — Box: CHUD 2
Identifier: CHUD X-2-g
Scope and Contents
Hudson's letter received. Miss Baker had felt the objection to a series of stories. She tried to avoid the objectional features by making each one of the series complete in itself. She has two to finish. Miss Baker has resisted the temptation to tell at length the story of Cousin Ellen's Kansas farm, the slow and certain reformation of Bill Jones, and the Golden wedding of the elder Mr. and Mrs. Marshall. She condensed them all in one paragraph. She asks Hudson to pray for her. :: X-2-g A.L.S. 3pp. 12mo
