7th Regiment of US Colored Troops Collection, 1863-1865, comprises 9 documents pertaining to the formation and discharge of the 7th United States Colored Infantry Regiment. Included in the collection are muster rolls, appointments, orders, and signatures of enlisted soldiers. Notably, materials are primarily related to 1st Lieutenant Joseph M. Califf and his appointments, though materials also include Private George Washington, Private Vincent Demby, and William Birney, among others.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of 19th century colonial Cuban manuscripts relating to religion and politics on the island and in relation to Spain. Included are minutes, reports, proposals, and correspondence from various religious and administrative bodies, including the Bishop of Havana, different Cofradias (fraternities), cabildos (boards) of the church, financial tribunals, charitable schools, city mayors, and the Governor of Havana. Abstract

A large photo album containing panoramic views of Mexican cities and towns as well as photographs of major monuments and tourist sites in Mexico City. The album also illustrates the growth of the Mexican National Railroad, including images of locomotives and railroad tunnels and bridges. Photos date to the late nineteenth century and many can be attributed to known photographers or studios, including William Henry Jackson, Gove and North, and Abel Briquet.

Scope and Contents This collection is composed of 43 medieval private charters (documents recording the exchange of property or rights between two or more private parties), ranging in date from the 13th century to the 16th century. The Amelia Bucklin Cornwall Collection comprises twelve letters and three envelopes from Amelia Bucklin Cornwell to her niece, Mary Bucklin Keating. The personal scrapbook of Angelina Vértiz de Barthez. Included are numerous comments from admirers, autographs, and newspaper clippings, as well as some enclosures. Materials date from her first exhibition in 1946 to 1976. Included are exhibition announcements from 1949, 1951, 1953, 1955, 1956, and 1976.
