Norah Borges Letters
This collection consists of the personal letters of Norah Borges. All but one letter are sent to Esther Haldo de Amorim, with one letter sent to Aurora Haldo de Haldo. Also included are four drawings by Borges, and two programs of Borges’ exhibitions. Materials include letters, postcards, drawings, and pamphlets.

The Ontario Motor Speedway (OMS) Budget Records consists of 12 folders of original and photocopied budget records for the 1971 racing season. The material includes proposed budget documents and estimated attendance for events held at the track in 1971. The collection also includes budget records for six racing events in 1971 and selected 1971 expenditures for training, uniforms, capital improvements, and other expenses. Formats include financial records.

Materials include correspondence of Edward Syle, an Episcopal missionary who worked closely with the Chinese; reports and minutes of meetings of the welfare committee; and a draft of the committee’s constitution.

Three idiosyncratic manuscript journals of deeply cynical leftist political commentary, written by an unidentified Irish-American resident of Pittsburgh, ca. 1922-1932. The journals treat local, national, and international affairs, contemporaneous and historical: there is much on World War I, Ireland, and American politics generally. The volumes are illustrated with some 750 drawings, many of them portraits.

This collection consists of a full set of the first series of Player’s Irish Place Names Cigarette Cards. Comprising twenty-five cards, each card was illustrated by Jack B. Polish Resistance During World War II Periodicals Collection
The collection contains ephemera publications produced in clandestinely operating printing shops throughout Poland during the German occupation. The collection covers a wide range of groups active in the underground from nationalist to Soviet sympathizing communists. Of particular interest are titles which were printed during the Warsaw Uprising (August 1-October 2, 1944).
Polish Solidarnosc Collection
This collection consists of political ephemera produced by Solidarity (Solidarnosc), a Polish labor union founded in 1980 at the Lenin Shipyard. It was the first trade union in a Warsaw Pact country that was not controlled by a communist party. Materials include broadsides, pamphlets, handbills, realia, periodicals, photographs, and posters.
