Scope and Contents The Chardon family is under the impression that the Jesuit priest stationed at the old Jesuit mission of the River St. Joseph about the year 1700 was one of their relatives. Charlevoix calls the Father Chardon there in 1700, Pierre, the "Lettres Edifiantes" calls him Jean B. The family thinks that the name of their Jesuit uncle was George. If there were at the old mission some register, list, grave, or any information about Father Chardon it will be a great gratification for them....

They are advertising in street cars and papers. Mrs. Mohun would like to have the Ave Maria publish an advertisement to get aid to pay all the debts and make all necessary repairs on the church.
