Sister thanks Hudson for the Ave Maria and the many gifts. Pere Lacordaire is enthroned in their convent album beside all the ecclesiastical dignitaries. She received the Indian paper, but it should have stated part of it was copied from the Ave Maria. Sister hopes to send Hudson a New Year's or Christmas Eve story when she forwards the subscriptions for 1888. She encloses an extract from a letter of Cajetan Cardinal Masella sent her.
