Hudson, C.S.C., Father Daniel E.: Notre Dame, Ind(iana) to Monsignor (Robert) Seton: (Jersey City Heights, New Jersey), 1893 October 4
He is sorry not to have received Seton's letter in re the Parliament of Religions sooner; the editorial expressed his deep conviction. He understands the non-Catholic point of view. He thanks Seton for the return of the proofs; this excellent address will make a handsome pamphlet.
Hudson, C.S.C., Father Daniel E.: Notre Dame, Ind(iana) to Monsignor (Robert) Seton: (Jersey City Heights, New Jersey), 1893 October 25
He thanks Seton for his many favors to the "Ave Maria" and for his kindness to Brother Jarlath (O' Brien) who tells them that Seton did all in his power to render his stay pleasant and his canvass successful. Many people express pleasure to see Seton's oration in pamphlet form.
Hudson, C.S.C., Father Daniel E., Notre Dame, Indiana, to Monsignor Robert Seton, Jersey City, New Jersey, 1886 April 9
Hudson, C.S.C., Father Daniel E.: Notre Dame, Ind(iana) to Monsignor (Robert) Seton: (Jersey City, New Jersey), 1886 October 5
He thanks Seton very much for his kind remembrance. The copy is most welcome. He will be obliged to use the short pieces as notes and the longer article will come in nicely some time. If it were on the Blessed Virgin or had a less repellent title, he could use it as a leader. He would be glad to retain Robert's initials; why not give his name?
Hudson, C.S.C., Father Daniel E., Notre Dame, Indiana, to Monsignor Robert Seton, Jersey City, New Jersey, 1886 November 3
He finds it impossible to complete a set of the "Ave Maria," but he will remember Seton's request should a set be offered for sale. He likes Seton's plan for a parish library. He hopes Seton will continue his valued contributions. Those notes he sent were read with great interest. :: II-1-b A.L.S. 2pp. 8vo.

Father Hudson sends some proofs of the "Announcements" and asks if Onahan can use some copies of the "Ave Maria". The death of Father (Thomas) Walsh, (C.S.C.) is a great loss. Father Andrew Morrissey, (C.S.C.) was not Father Hudson's choice as a successor, though he admits that Father Morrissey may do a better job than some others. Huffer, Bertha, Paris, France to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1904 January 12
