Item
Identifier: CONA IX-1-e
Scope and Contents
Father Hudson sends some proofs of the "Announcements" and asks if Onahan can use some copies of the "Ave Maria". The death of Father (Thomas) Walsh, (C.S.C.) is a great loss. Father Andrew Morrissey, (C.S.C.) was not Father Hudson's choice as a successor, though he admits that Father Morrissey may do a better job than some others. Another loss to Notre Dame is Father (Alexis) Granger, (C.S.C.), who was a good friend of Father Hudson.
