He received the remittance Hudson sent, and he hopes that Hudson received the extra copies of the magazine containing his poem, "Louis de Seille" which he authorized the publishers to send to Hudson. He sends a sonnet "The Power of Prayer" for the Ave Maria. Egan was very much gratified by the dedication to himself of the sonnet written by Mr. Norris. The Illustrated Weekly continues to make slow progress and he is quite confident that eventually it will accomplish great things.
