Scope and Contents Hill and Father Fidelis Stone, C.P. have found Stoddard's "Lepers of Molokai" interesting. Illness has prevented Hill from writing the story he had intended. Hill hopes to go to England before next winter where he can be a moral support to his sisters in case of their conversion. Stone will have to go to Valparaiso, Chile where there are a number of English speaking Catholics. Hill thanks Hudson for the copy of "Troubled Heart". He sends a sonnet inspired by a book Father Fidelis Stone, C.P., recently received. Yesterday the bell for their new monestary was blessed by the Vicar-General and by next year they hope to have their house completed. The next time he visits Mr. Dewey's bookstore he will take an Ave Maria and see if he can't get it out here at more reasonable terms than at Jacobsen's. :: X-3-a A.L.S. 1p. 4to.

Two letters came from Father Fidelis Stone, C.P., both written under Hudson's roof. Stone said he spent a doleful time previous to his visit to Notre Dame. He now says the three religious who volunteered to accompany him there Argentina may back out. One of the Fathers from the Camp wrote a long letter to Stone on their prospects.
