It seems to him that at no time since the Reformation has the world been more open to conviction. Father Urbain Guillet, O.S.C.O. came in 1805, but he and all the Trappists in America excepting Vincent and a few brothers returned to France under Dom Augustine de Lestrange, O.C.S.O. in 1814.
