From what Kelly has seen of Detroit he considers it a gem of a city. Father Ernest Van Dyke will be confined to his room for at least a month or six weeks. He sprained his Knee playing baseball. They will require Hudson's services here on the 24th and 25th. It is an awfully busy time here, and Kelly hasn't a thing prepared for Christmas day, so Hudson must step in and fill the gap. :: X-2-h A.L.S. 2pp. 4to.

He sends the ad to be published in the "Ave Maria". Father Peter Paul Cooney is a wretched looking speciment of humanity and appears to be very penitent. The members of the temperance Society declare it was better for their sake, it was the roof he fell from, and not the sidewalk. Father P. As Kelly gets old be gets tired of the Army. What an evidence of a free government with equal religion rights when there are nearly 40 chaplains in the Army and only one Catholic priest among them.
