 Item — Box: CEDW 9, Folder: 14

Scope and Contents

He mails a copy of "The Girls of America" composed by his friend J. M. Duganne of the New England Conservatory. It is a racy two-step with an excellent swing. He trusts the the Notre Dame University band will play it. He hopes on his next visit to Notre Dame to see a new fireproof library building. Johnnie Howell has "gone to the dorgs."Clarence V. Schermerhorn writes that he is to be married. He trusts that the Scholastic will retain its old place at the top of American college journalism. It is on par with the first class magazines. :: XI-2-b A.L.S. 4pp.
