Dunne received the 25 copies this morning. It is beautifully printed. It is typographically faultless with one exception. Those are things only the author could notice. Dunne found Charles Warren Stoddard 's book "A Troubled Heart" interesting because it called to mind many of his former acquaintances in California. He understands Stoddard's New England experience because he was raised in Western Reserve. During Dunne's recent serious illness, all his close friends came to see him; Sister Cecilia now mother to his children, Sister Amadeus his own sister and Doctor Patrick F. Quigley . It is the first Catholic paper in Florida. The colony is progressing with new colonists arriving every day. He sees with fear and hope the approach of the next council which will be held despite the uncertainty of the times.
