Howley, Father Richard, Tileby, Leicestershire, England, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1888 June 25
Item — Box: CHUD 12
Identifier: CHUD X-3-g
Scope and Contents
Howley is sorry to perceive from Hudson's recent letters that Hudson's feelings have changed. He does not think he deserved anything but confidence and good will from Notre Dame and the Ave Maria. The volume of the Ave Maria together with some books for Howley to review went to Mr. Maynell. Howley has no record of the things he wrote for the Ave Maria while at Notre Dame or at Bodmin. He has a pretty place, though poor, but it is his own place for the first time in his life. :: X-3-g A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
