She is grieved to hear that Hudson is ill. She only suggested proofs of "Saxby's Angel" because Hudson said that "with changes it can be made a good Easter Story". She is on the last pages of "Zoe's Daughter" and so glad she could do it for her mother Mrs. Anna Hansen Dorsey . The "Legend of the Lacte" is new to her but she has all data from Father Burke. Hudson's letter of February 3 puts into her power a project dear to her heart. She would not mention it to MamaAnna Hanson Dorsey as she treated any possibility of good results with "sniffishness". Anna Dorsey is concerned that Father Sorin made over "Zoe's Daughter" to O'Shea who is the most intolerable Irishman. Dorsey thinks a dozen or so could be saved from the wreckage of copyright with little trouble and "Tangled Paths" could be added. :: X-2-m A.L.S. 3pp. 12mo.

She hopes to get "Mater Christe" and "The Ark of Covenant" to him shortly. She is concerned about the $50 debt. Is she worth $2.50 per page. Dorsey sends Hudson a line from Sheridan. Dorsey thanks Hudson for the favor he did for her. She dares not show the sketches to her mother until after the Ave Maria comes out. Dorsey's mother being old, she has little joy because her age and ill health are a burden. Hudson's health is a grave concern to the Dorsey household.
