Microfilm of a rule book for the Oblates of Providence. The rule book, in French, followed by an English version, details obligations of the superior, oblates, and postulates, tasks to be done, Sunday and feast day observances, guidelines for the school and the children attending it, daily routine, dress, education for the sisters, and reformed constitution in French. Records of Joseph H. Burke, CSC, the Notre Dame liason with the US Government in charge of Military Training during the First World War (WWI, World War One). Consists almost entirely of correspondence with Washington and the Army about administrative matters and government property (primarily ordnance).
