Bishop John Joseph Keane thought the criticism contained in Hudson's letter hypercriticism. Dorsey is indifferent to the criticism of Egan because she does not consider him an authority. Her unfortunate story will soon end. Dorsey is making her last appearance on the stage of literature. She ran the first furrow in the field of American Catholic light...

Toohey went to San Antonio to pay his respects to Colonel Elmer Otis on his silver wedding anniversary. Otis looks better than when he visited Notre Dame on his way to Waukesha. On his way to New Orleans, Corby stopped off at Mobile, but was unable to see Bishop Jeremiah O' Sullivan . Much of the South including Mobile is poor. The people are not overly friendly. Sunday, Corby said Mass at St. Mary's parish. Archbishop Francis Xavier Leray resides there but at present he is in Baltimore. Corby will shortly start for Texas. :: X-3-c A.L.S. 3pp. 12mo.
