Dorsey was glad Hudson could take the story "The Old Hair Trunk". When he comes to settle with Katherine Faxon, he should do it through Dorsey. She thought of bringing out a book of Tolstoi's translated tracts, an idea which Tichnor's took up with enthusiasm until a man named Dole issued a translation of the same stories. Tichnor's suggested Dorsey's translation should be published in a good weekly magazine; the present rage for Tolstoi being a guarantee of success.
