Howe criticizes Father T. P. Roles ' literary abilities, saying he is a fair critic, an excellent teacher of rhetoric, but his great superiority lies in his lectures and orations. She discusses the conversion of two Swedish young men to Catholicism. Father Peter Cooney accompanied by Father H. F. Kroll and Doctor Kilroy visited Howe.
