2 scrapbook of newspaper clippings about bicycling compiled by W. I. Doty of Denver, Colorado, a member of the Denver Wheel Club. Clippings range in date from April 1896 to August 1897. Most clippings appear to derive from local dailies and emphasize the Colorado cycling scene.

Content Description This collection consists of two albums of vernacular photographs recording the travels and activities of the Ernst family of Rochester, New York. The photographs were apparently taken by Louis Ernst, and most pictures measure 3 1/4 inches square, with a few larger pictures present. Content Description This collection contains a complete set of five cardboard die-cut Spalding Sporting Goods advertising stand-ups from 1896 demonstrating men and women athletes wearing Spalding apparel and using Spalding equipment.
