At the Peru graduate commencement some ladies made an attack on the Church which has started a controversy. Some fellow has commenced an attack in the "Peru Evening Journal" in which a French historian, Anthony Varillas is mentioned. Neimer would like to know if Notre Dame has any of Varillas' works in the library and whether he is really a Catholic and quoted correctly.
